An enormous amount of hot water is needed every day on a campsite, whether for showering, cleaning the bathrooms or washing the dishes. If there is not enough hot water available at all times and immediately, this is quickly perceived as a lack of comfort.
To prevent this problem, the Strukkamphuk campsite on Fehmarn has opted for a Haase hot water tank. Since the beginning of 2023, the hot water supply to a bathhouse at the campsite has been ensured by a T 419-67 tank. This has a capacity of 6,900 litres and was installed in the technical room.
It has two columns on which the heat exchangers for heating, solar and hot water are mounted. The storage tank is supplied with heat by the heating and solar system. The hot water is drawn from the storage tank as required.
The campsite operator was so satisfied with the Haase hot watertank that a second one with exactly the same equipment was ordered at the beginning of 2024 (see continuation below).
Following the successful installation of the first hot water tank, tank number two will now follow in April 2024. This tank will also be responsible for supplying hot water to the bathrooms.
With the experience and information from last year, it was no problem to choose the right size again. The choice fell again on the T419-67 with 6,700 litres and exactly the same equipment. In terms of space and equipment, the storage tank fits in perfectly with the campsite’s operations.
